10 little toes...

Baby update:
GLORY TO GOD!! Yesterday her weight was down to 7 lbs 15oz more than the average 10% newborn loss & blood work showed her jaundice level was up to 13 from 9.8. Today she was 8.5 lbs (babies usually gain 1oz or less per day, she gained 6ozs!)& the jaundice color looked so much better they didn't need to test!! So grateful the Lord has healed her & had mercy on me so I didn't have to take her for the blood work. On the way home from the hospital I was praising God & got an impression of God's ear being turned toward baby Logan. I felt like He was telling me that He was paying special attention to the intercession that was taking place on her behalf. So a BIG Thank You to everyone that has covered her in prayer! We are so thankful for you & pray God's abundant blessings on you!

Pretty Baby Girl

I used the new tiny tags set to make this simple baby card for a stampin friend that is expecting her 1st baby this spring. I am so excited for her! Baby girls are the best! Our little girl is battling a case of jaundice & we have had to take her in for bloodwork the last couple days. Totally heart breaking to see them poking her teeny little feet & hearing her crying. Praying when we go in today she will have gained back some of the weight she lost & test results will be good so we don't have to go again. Thank you Lord for sending your healing down to our precious Logan!

One little baby....

or not so little. She weighed 9lbs!! We had a bit of a traumatic experience after baby was born. She is totally perfect & healthy! But after the delivery the doctors were finishing up & I started to hemorrhage before I knew it the room was filled with people running around talking in that doctoreese, giving me lots of meds, ordering transfusions, & working on stopping the bleeding. They finally got things stable after what felt like forever. Doctor told me today I was almost on my way to a hysterectomy. Yikes! Anyway I am still here under supervision but doing better. So grateful to God for blessing us with a beautiful healthy baby & keeping me safe.

I started the samples for the Fabulous in 5 Minutes class. Anything with lots of sparkle is fabulous, right? So hard to capture the bling on camera but this is very sparkly in person!

Baby update: L&D was full yesterday so they called us in this morning & I am hooked up to all the gadgets. IV's hurt!!! Sorry had to whine about it when it comes to needles I am such a whimp! Tried to get them to stick my hubby so we could "share" in the labor experience but no luck...Anyway I will update when I have more news. Yay for wifi & lap tops!! :D

So Lovin the Sweet Pea DSP!

I figured before our little sweet pea arrives tomorrow I would cut in to my sweet pea designer paper. Oh I am so lovin this dsp! The designs are so wonderful it makes creating beautiful cards sooo easy! I am planning on teaching one of these cards as a bonus technique next month. I have one more sweet pea project to show you...

This little box is so adorable & easy to create with the big shot! I have a tutorial in the works for it. Well that's all I have for today hopefully I will have time to post again soon!

Love You Stinky

My daughter was wearing a shirt a few weeks ago with a cute little skunk on it & it inspired me! I actually made it awhile back & its been sitting on my desk unfinished until last night! I will be working on some new tutorials soon. The weather has been stormy this week so the lighting for tutorials photos is yucky. Maybe I will figure out how to make video tutorials someday soon. Anybody got any tips on how to do that? Luckily there was a little break in the clouds so I could snap this photo. Baby is arriving this weekend so not sure how much that will slow me up. We are going in on Saturday to be induced. I can't beleive its time already! I am starting to get a little nervous about giving birth, having a newborn again, & how my youngest is going to react since she has been my baby for the last 4 years. I am sure I will be amazed by the grace that God will pour out on us during this time of amazing transition.

Let's Mambo

I wanted to do a valentine using the colors Melon Mambo, Basic Black, & Pretty in Pink! So today was the day to give it a try. I tried to use the sketch challenge over on SCS but I goofed on my measurements. Anyway it all came together in the end. I made some Melon Mambo glitter cardstock using versamark & iridescent ice embossing powder. It has been so stormy here the last few days I wanted to make something shiny! I also used my new butterfly embosslit from the Occasions mini catalog! It's FABULOUS!!

Baby Update...

We were scheduled for the version & when we went in they did the ultrasound to check the baby's position before they got started & she was head down again. I know we had a lot of prayers going out & the best possible scenario happened! So thank you to everyone that prayed for us & we just Praise the Lord for His faithfulness! Hopefully our little acrobat will stay put this time & arrive very soon!!
The above 3x3 card was made with scraps I found while attempting to unbury my desk. I love the little sentiments in the Happy Moments Sale-a-Bration set!

Last Nights Napkin ....

Todays project!! We had our monthly demonstrator stamp n chat last night & our wonderful hostess had these adorable napkins for us to "use". Well after having some yummy cookies on these cuties I dusted off the crumbs & brought them home. So today I was supposed to clean up my stamp space & then I saw the napkins on my desk & a heavy plastic bag from an undies purchase at Costco. I had thrown it out since it had the brand printed on the plastic but then I realized I could just cut the bag down past the printing & it came out the perfect size to fit a set of cards! I used the crop a dile to punch some holes for the handles then added the stitched felt & filigree brads. The napkins have 4 different images on them so I am hoping to get to finish up the set sometime before the baby arrives.

Little Stinker...

Well today I went in for my 38 week appointment & my little stinker is once again breech. They have scheduled me for the ECV this week. Uggghhh!!!! I pray all goes well baby is turnable & stays put this time. She is so going to be grounded for putting me through all this. Anyway needless to say after that news I needed a little pick me up & there in my mail box was exactly what I needed to put a smile on my face... 24 hand stamped cards (a.k.a. Swaps from the QC swap group!) plus the new Stampin Success demo magazine! So I decided it was safe to post one of the cards I made for the QC swap.

Love Birds

I finally used the new 2 step bird punch to make some cute little love birds! I kept this card simple to showcase the birds & the blingy heart. I love the new pink & brown patterns in the Sending Love designer paper pack! Hope you're having a great weekend!

Super Simplicity!

I made a simple flower using the new 2 step bird punch & a little stitched felt piece for the center. Today's challenge over at SCS was to make a card using polka dots with your choice of pinks, reds, black, & white. Well I used all the colors in this card & also used the CAS (Clean and Simple) style to showcase the cute little flower.

Another Vintage Teaser

Well today I wasn't able to stamp at all. WAH!!! So all I have is another teaser photo for you. I spent the day getting some last minute things we need for when baby shows up. Since I have nothing from the others we are starting from scratch. Sorry reminds me of something funny my 5 year old said the other day. We were at the grocery store & she asked me "Who is scratch?" . I said "Scratch? What makes you say that?" Her response was "The other day you said Scratch made macaroni & cheese." No I said "Daddy made you macaroni & cheese from scratch". She said "Oh Ok. Who is scratch?". Tried to explain with out bursting out laughing but don't know if she got it. Anyway back to my day so after dropping enough cash to feed a small village on baby gear & other stuff I spent the rest of the day doing some much needed house cleaning. Unfortunately after a few hours my back seized up on me. So I didn't get done as much as I hoped. Hopefully tomorrow my back will be better & the "nesting" bug will bite me again. Since lately most days just getting out of bed is a struggle. I barely sleep at night anymore between horrible heartburn, severe back & hip pain, leg cramps, baby kicking, having to pee every 30 minutes, & just being plain uncomfortable. Oh the joys of pregnancy..... Ok now I sound like I am whining. Don't get me wrong I am SO grateful to have a healthy baby on the way I am just way ready to have her in my arms instead of in my body. Sorry thanks for listening to all my blah blah.

I had my 36 week check up yesterday & it went perfectly!! Baby has been breech for the last couple months so they were going to schedule me for an ECV to try & turn her manually. Which sometimes works but also has some serious risks & I could end up having an emergency c-section. I have been praying that she would turn herself & save us both the stress of the ECV procedure. God is Good!! All is as it should be. Baby is head down & I've started to dilate! This pregnancy has been so different from the others, which were fairly uneventful & a lot easier. I think my body is getting too old for this. LOL! I am trying to enjoy the last couple weeks of my pregnancy since it will likely be my last. I almost can't believe its so close to being over. I remember thinking January 2010 felt like forever away when we found out we were pregnant in May but here we are about to meet our precious baby in just a couple weeks! I praise the Lord for this amazing gift of life! I pray for a safe delivery & a healthy baby.
I have so much to share I just haven't had time to take the photos yet. But here is a card I made for a friends B-Day using some of my favorite retired stamps, dp, & in colors.

Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Disneyland!

This December has flew by so quickly I haven't even had time to post all my Christmas cards. Its been a month filled with celebration! My girls turn 4 & 5, my mom's birthday, Christmas, a Disneyland vacation.....plus being almost 36 weeks pregnant. I am surprised I haven't collapsed from exhaustion.
