More Birds!

I saw a cute card by Julie Pitta & I had to make one for my upcoming bird punch class. I kept it very simple. Thanks Julie! Hope everyone is having a wonderful relaxing weekend!

"IFTL" #3

This kit even had the ribbon! I remember this was a Mothers Day card I taught at a MOPS group a few years back. The original used Roses in Winter. For this I used Elements of Style & a scripture from PTI. Hope you have a chance to be a blessing to someone today! Till tomorrow......

Mercedes

Bin Card #2

Here is another card I redesigned from the "I'll finish them later" bin, which I will now be calling the "IFTL" bin. I think the original used the SAB set Delight in Life & the metallic pencils. So you can see how long these have been sitting here. I'll be back tomorrow with more "IFTL" cards.
Have a wonderful day!

Stamps Used:
All a Flutter
Medallion

Clearing 'Em Out!

I have been trying to clear out a bin I have full of pre cut cards from old workshops. I always cut a couple extra or have someone not show up & it took me 4 years to realize putting the extras in the "I'll finish them later" bin was a really bad idea. Like I am really going to drag all that stuff out again...NOT! So now if there are extras I stamp them at the workshop! Then I can give them to the hostess or bring them home ready to use. But anyway back to the ridiculous bin I have to clear out. Most of the kits don't have the original samples so I have to redesign the cards, which is good because we ARE talking about some cards I designed when I first started stamping YIKES!! This kit just had the Spring Flowers DSP & the card base so I thought whatever the original was it must have been very um...minimal? So I went with super simple. Used the Birds & Bloom die, I really need to use that more often its so cute!

Elements of Style!

This card has been my most popular sample using the new Elements of Style set. This set is absolutely on the MUST-HAVE list! I loved the butterfly card sample in the mini catalog so I used that as inspiration for this card. I used the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz on my background & also sponged my butterfly with it. It does take a little practice to use. My first attempt...not so good. You have to really hold it a good 10+ inches from your project. Anyway thats all I have to share today. Thanks for stopping in!

Where does the time go?

I can't beleive its been so long since I posted something. So whats been going on with me lately you're wondering? I've been super busy making Mother's Day cards, my cousins wedding invites, had a tooth pulled (OMGosh the PAIN has been terrible!), holding classes, planning classes, family stuff....Anyway I'm here now. I have been loving the Elements of Style set from the summer mini. It's just so BEAUTIFUL! I stamped on Kraft & colored with SU markers.
I also have a confession to make. I have received this award from a few different people lately & I haven't time to play by all the rules but I wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that has named me as a worthy one to receive the award. :D

Sunshine awards are given to bloggers who help spread Sunshine and a positive, upbeat attitude while sharing what we love and do -- creating handcrafted cards and projects, of course!
