Mickey Rosettes

Just had to share really quick...
So when I made my Frightful Wreath instead of using the giant rosette I cut it up to make 4.

To do that you will cut the long strip down the middle where the hole for hanging it is located. Then you will cut each of those long strips at 2 inches the long way so down the entire length. You will end up with 2 strips that are wider than the other 2 so when you assemble them you will have 2 sizes. Next I punched a couple of circle of black cardstock to use as the base for my blob of hot glue and assembled the rosettes as I normally would. Hope that makes sense.
Well at my wreath class one of my friends loves Disney so I suggested that she make the rosettes in to a Mickey head! I was bummed because I had already assembled my wreath so I couldn't try it on my own then I remembered the Motley Monster DSP had an orange striped pattern!

I downloaded the Disney font & printed the Happy Halloween. I thought it came out pretty cute!

Paper Pumpkin Night

We had a fun evening creating together last night! We put together the Frightful Wreath, a Paper Pumpkin burlap bag, & this cute card-

I was super happy with how this card turned out so just in case you were wondering how it came together I made a video!
Enjoy!

Fancy Friday Blog Hop!

Whoop Whoop its time for the 2013 ADT Fancy Friday Monthly Blog Hop! I love that each month we have a new challenge. Last month it was a color combo & this month its a sketch!

I haven't done a sketch challenge in eons so this was super fun!

I switched it up a bit but still think I captured the gist of the sketch.

See that little glittery acorn-well I was just going to add a plain button then I saw Teneale Williams adorable glittered wood embellishments so I nixed the button & I think its much cuter!
Don't you?!
Well that's all I have for now so lets hop on over to see what the wonderful Alanna Wharf has been up to-

Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- CAS

Welcome to our last blog hop of the month. Crazy that we will be moving on to our 3rd box of goodies next week!

Well before we start thinking about that lets take a look at this weeks creation-

Hmm... maybe those Halloween stamps & DSP are more versatile than one might think!

I found myself in need of a little reconciliation card this week after a tiff I had with the Hubs. So I busted out some of the supplies from this month's box but in the end I decided to keep it simple. Of course I did have to step up the cuteness with tiny wiggly eyes & embossing.

Alrighty time to hop on over to visit Sarah!

Convention Display- Butterfly Box

Just realized I still have more projects to share from Convention! Yikes!
Anyway if you toured the Home Office you might have seen this box on display. :)

This was one of those projects that took on a life of its own. I usually don't add quite so much "stuff" but I had fun with it & it looked pretty when I was done so I was happy!
Thanks for taking a peek today!
