#tgifc220

It’s time to play along with this weeks TGIF Sketch Challenge!

I really love the simplicity of this sketch so I tried to give my project the same feel.

I used 2 new stamp sets, Parcels & Petals & To A Wild Rose. Used Purple Posy & Razzleberry Stampin Blends to color this beautiful flower!

Gotta say I kinda love it!
The design team has some  really amazing projects posted as always so don’t forget to visit tgifchallenges.com.

Hope you have a chance to play along!

#tgifc219

Hello Crafty Friends!
We are back from a 10 day vacation celebrating our 15th anniversary &
I am ready to play with the new box of goodies that arrived while we were gone.

So of course I ran over to see what this week's TGIF Challenge was going to be...
Ooh what a lovely color combo & I just so happened to have new Stampin Blends in my box!
Here is what I came up with-
How fun is this image from the Birthday Goodness stamp set?! YUM!

Hopefully you have had a chance to check out all the beautiful creations up @ TGIFChallenges.com

#tgifc215

Hey Crafty Friends!
I have a pretty little card to share with you today that was inspired by this weeks
TGIF Color Challenge!

The challenged called for these colors...
https://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/2019/06/tgifc215-color-challenge.html

But I have been so excited to play with these amazing papers that I totally improvised.
I think my color combo is more like Pool Party, Old Olive, & Pretty Peacock which is close enough. The whole point of any challenge is to inspire us to create & I definitely was inspired.

The Bird Ballad DSP is one of the most beautiful papers I have ever used! I have a whole stash of images that I fussy cut. I also have a bunch of those pretty embossed white pieces & the stitched labels, I am loving how quickly I can create something pretty with them!

There are some really awesome cards over on the TGIF site so make sure you check them out, then grab your blues & greens & play along!

Alternative Paper Pumpkin Thing...

Hey Crafty Friends!
I was invited to create a couple alternative projects for the "A Paper Pumpkin Thing" blog hop using the May kit called Hugs from Shelli.

This was probably my FAVORITE EVER & I have been a subscriber since day one so that's a lot of kits!
I'm a sucker for vintage flair & this definitely has it! I have a very over the top type project to share along with a simple card so let's start with the card...

I have been waiting to get my hands on the Free as a Bird stamp set & now I can't put it down!

It pairs so beautifully with the Stampin Blends markers.
QUICK TIP- If you want you image to pop even more carefully color around your image with a light color, like Pool Party, after you fussy cut or die cut an image.

I did have to fussy cut the birdies but I enjoy doing that so it wasn't a big deal.

Ok now on to my next project...

Yeah I kinda love it!!!
I did use my blends to color the bird nest & another bird from the Free as a Bird stamp set.

Here is a little video if you're interested in seeing how it came together.
Thanks for stopping by & don't forget to visit all the blogs from the list below to see more fabulous projects with this months Paper Pumpkin kit!
