Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Thanksgiving Edition

BLESSINGS to you & your family for a very Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!

Welcome to this weeks blog hop!
I figured my family wanted a dining room table to eat at so I had to do the "C" word...CLEAN...ugh! But the silver lining is while cleaning off the table I found lots of fun bits & pieces to play with. I am easily distracted by shiny things & I needed a pretty gift bag to give a little something to the gal who does my nails so I promise this wasn't just an excuse to keep from cleaning...

TIP- If you emboss the bags the top rolls through ok but the bottom is too thick so just roll it back the way it went in when your Big Shot starts too complain about the thickness. Lol!

Well maybe it was since the table still isn't completely cleared off. Guess it's gonna be a late night!
So while I get back to work go visit Sarah, I am sure she has something fun too share!

It's Fancy Friday!

Welcome to our November edition of Fancy Friday! We are a week early since next week is Thanksgiving- HOLY COW! How did that happen so fast!

Well I guess it's comin' ready or not-
Anyway my project for today was actually created for a sweet friend that brought me flowers for my birthday- so sweet, right?! I wanted to return the sweetness with some yumminess...

I must say that my Gift Box Punch Board has seriously gotten a work out recently. This is the full size box (4x4x4) & it fit a hefty stash of goodies! I used the Circle framelits to create the cute little window. I also trimmed the flaps & punched holes to tie the ribbon through. I stuck the other 2 flaps to the insides of the box since I wasn't using them.
I am sure my friend will enjoy this with her family or maybe just have a secret stash all to herself!
Ok speaking of "sweet friends" lets go visit one of the sweetest, Alanna Wharf :)

Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Gift Box

Today we get to share the project we created for the Stampin Up Facebook page! This project all started with large silver star- that is actually cut from the canvas sheets & embossed in silver. I was trying to think of something unique to do with the canvas & came up with this idea. I thought it would make a cool ornament for the tree but decided to make a fun gift box instead.

Lots of shiny stuff goin on here! Love that these boxes are large enough to put a large treat or small gift in to.
And since we are talking about fun gift wrap...here is a peek at another project that was posted on the SU blog a few days ago-

A fun pouch made by sewing the canvas banners together! Ok lets go visit Sarah, i'm sure she has something amazing to share!
