Hello!!!!!!! #tgifc331

Guess what?! I made a card! AND my first blog post of 2021, YIKES! Well life has been crazy as I'm sure many of you can relate but anyway I'm here to share this quick tip & a cute card so let's get to it...

I love fussy cutting & when I saw the Penguin Playmates Sale-a-Bration DSP it was love at first sight!

I wanted to play along with this weeks TGIF Challenge so I decided it was time to cut out these cuties.

The polar bear is adorable but after I cut him out i realized that scarf needed a little something extra...Bakers Twine to the rescue!

This is really simple to do just cut 2 short lengths of twine then tie another in a knot around them to keep them together & trim to desired length. I added some liquid glue to hold them in place behind the scarf & for added security I took one of the strands & secured it under dimensionals. Because the twine adds bulk you'll want to have the dimensionals to off set the thickness when you add this to your card. Hope that all makes sense. Lol!

And here is my finished card

I used a sentiment stamp from Counting Sheep,  another FREE Sale-a-Bration item, since we have lots of December birthdays it was perfect! It's hard to tell from the photo but the Peaceful Place DSP tree scene in the background is actually shiny, silver, & fabulous! One last tid bit would be after I added the "stitching" using the Stitched Whimsy dies I used my scissors to trim out the inside to create the frame effect.  Below is a list of all the products I've used.

Thank you for stoppin' by today!
