Artisan Wednesday Wow

Welcome! It has been so fun to see all the trendy nautical themed projects from the team this month, so I figured I would jump on the band wagon...

This was my first attempt. It worked out perfect for my make n take project at our demo meeting.
Then I was checking out Pinterest & all these adorable nautical cards starting popping up! It was like they were reading my mind...weird. Anyway needless to say I was inspired to create another card-

This is a note card size 3 1/2 x 5 & I used the Circle Framelits for the...um...yeah that thing. And just because these cards make me think of my Best Mate thought I would share a picture that I took last weekend-
Love this guy so very much! He is in Florida this week & we all miss him bunches. :(
Ok well that's all I have for ya so it's time to sail on over to visit the Spectacular Alanna Wharf!
Don't forget to also check out the Leadership Projects Blog Roll...

  1. Uhm.. that thing.. I think it's called a life saver?? They come in cherry, orange, pineapple....LOL!! You are crackin me up! Love both of these! The first one just might be my May Stamp CLub card! I LOOVE it. Alot. :-) I always LOVE your stuff Mercedes!

  2. Well I could not think of how to make a "sailor" knot for the life of me. And how nice did that embossing folder turn out. Fab. As usual.

  3. I am really getting inspired to go nautical. These cards are great! Handsome husband too!

  4. Once again, you leave me wanting to RUN to my craft table to get to work and case your projects! These could not be more perfect! You knocked it out of the park once again Mercedes! Thanks for the fun ideas!

  5. Love both your "sailor" cards! Hang in there, your best mate will be home soon!

  6. Great projects. You and your "best mate" make a darling couple.

  7. Good gracious these are cute!!! Now I'm going to have to actually break these out of the case!! Love that little sailor's knot…perfect!! Oh, and the picture of your DH is fabulous!

  8. Would love to know what stamp set and red/white striped paper was used.

Will have to case the 'lifesaver' card -- too cute
