Fancy Friday- Color Challenge?

 

Welcome to this months Fancy Friday Blog Hop!

I have to admit the theme kind of threw me for a minute since we are supposed to use colors that we don't normally use- hmm what color to I very rarely use...well I realized there are quite a few but the first one that jumped out at me was Pumpkin Pie. Then I figured what the heck lets throw Cucumber Crush & Daffodil Delight in there too!

 

 

I was even going to grab Tempting Turquoise as a card base but that was just over the top crazy. Anyway I was playing with a stripped layout that we will be using at my next epic event the "Paper Paradise Day-Cation" & thought these colors actually looked kinda Rad together!

I couldn't wait to get some time to create using this weeks TGIF Sketch Challenge!

It's simple but so many options, I could create for days with this one.

 

I flipped the sketch & created this...

 

 

Confession time- the only stamping I did on this was the "my friend". The flowers were die cut straight from the DSP. Love when things are all matchy matchy!

Welcome to the weekend!!! Although I'm not sure I can top last weekends festivities (if you follow me on Instagram you know what I was up to ;) Lol! Being with the love of my life & hanging out in Vegas with a couple of my favorite friends was just totes uhmazing! Can't wait to do it again!

Still trying to catch up from being gone for 3 days but even though my craftroom looks like a tornado came through I needed to get inky...

 

 

 

 

This color combo was definitely a bit out of my comfort zone so it was really a challenge to figure out how to pull it off. The rest of the TGIF Team projects makes it look like a cake walk, Lol!

The Love Blossoms DSP stack is super adorable so I used it to make some cute 3x3 cards & a sour cream pouch treat bag!

 

 

 

 

I'm pretty excited about the Berry Basket being on the Weekly Deals this week! Its a must have for sure! We will be making these projects at next months "Happy Heart Day" class- if your local come on over!
