Hey Crafty Friends!
I was invited to create a couple alternative projects for the "A Paper Pumpkin Thing" blog hop using the May kit called Hugs from Shelli.
This was probably my FAVORITE EVER & I have been a subscriber since day one so that's a lot of kits!
I'm a sucker for vintage flair & this definitely has it! I have a very over the top type project to share along with a simple card so let's start with the card...
I have been waiting to get my hands on the Free as a Bird stamp set & now I can't put it down!
It pairs so beautifully with the Stampin Blends markers.
QUICK TIP- If you want you image to pop even more carefully color around your image with a light color, like Pool Party, after you fussy cut or die cut an image.
I did have to fussy cut the birdies but I enjoy doing that so it wasn't a big deal.

Ok now on to my next project...
Yeah I kinda love it!!!
I did use my blends to color the bird nest & another bird from the Free as a Bird stamp set.

Here is a little video if you're interested in seeing how it came together.
