Leadership Artisan Samples 2015- Birthday Bash

Yay! It's finally time to start sharing the projects that we created for the Leadership display boards!
We will be posting samples every Friday for the next 4 weeks so make sure you check out all the gals links at the bottom of this post so you don't miss any fabulousness!

Ok let's get this party started since I am sharing my favorite projects first!

Shaker cards are seriously making a come back & they just scream celebration, don't they?

This card was small (3 1/2 x 3 1/2) but still brought some life to the party with its festive feel!

This card was really one of my favorites! I love DONUTS, what can I say?!

I even made a video showing how to make the donut.  :)
~Enjoy

EDIT: Save those little pieces you punch out to make the large donut & use your 1/4" circle or Crop a dile (largest hole) to make mini donuts!

Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Hey Valentine

Welcome to this weeks Blog Hop! Glad you have joined us & hope you are inspired by all the fun projects the team has to share with you.

We got a neat mix of products in this month's box, so many possibilities for creativity to just run wild...anyway one of the things we got was the Handpicked Framelits & From the Garden stamp set which I knew would be a stretch for me. I am horrible at keeping plants alive so I wasn't in love with it at first & had to think a little outside the box.

As I looked at the framelits I started see the makings of school supplies-

Pencils & crayons to be exact. I'm still working on my "crayon" card but I refined the pencil a bit by adding the score lines & think this would be such a fun tag for a Teacher gift- I homeschool my girls & want to tear my hair out half the time so I have mad respect for teachers that have 30+ kids to deal with.

FYI-that amazing wrapping paper that was released in the holiday catalog is on the clearance rack! It is so perfect for making these little bags!

Hope you are inspired to whip up something for a teacher just to show your appreciation for them!
If anyone would like a video on how to make the pencils just give me a holler-
now lets go visit Sarah!

Sale a Bration Flower Cards

Just in case you have been dreaming of these pretty flowers that are featured on the Sale a Bration DSP & front cover of the catalog I have a little something to share with you!

So to make the larger flower follow the same steps just sub out the punches to the 2 1/2 circle for the leaves & the sweetheart punch for the flower center. ;)

If you give these a try or have figured out another way to make them please please please share! Post a link in the comments so I can see 'em!
:D

Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Sending Wishes

Well the last week seriously flew by. I have been so excited about taking hubby to Leadership & now in a whirlwind it is over & it's back to reality. Guess now the countdown to Convention begins! We met so so many amazing people, it was fabulous to get hugs from so many of you that follow my blog! Thank You for that! Hubby had such a good time he is asking to come with me to Convention!

If you missed the Leadership Conference or just want to get an up close look at the projects the Team created we will be doing a blog hop soon! So stay tuned...

Ok enough about that how about we take a look at some cute stuff- that maybe didn't start out so cute. Lol!

I have been wanting to do this for a while but I keep forgetting until now. Anyway first I cut the butterfly from a white card front so I could use the negative space for a template & I traced the outline of the butterfly on to a scrap piece of paper then went crazy scribbling with my Pumpkin Pie Blendies. I attached that to the back of the white card front I traced from & added the black butterfly & that was pretty much it.

From scribbly mess to a pretty set of cards ready to be gifted to someone fabulous!

Next up I have another easy peasy card for ya-

If you follow me on Instagram you saw that I was playing with my Hexagon punch making these little envelopes & because the "Sending wishes your way" sentiment was still out on my desk I figured what the heck.

Alright well I guess it is time to run over to visit Sarah but before you go here are a couple photos I posted to Instagram last week.  :)
