October Blog Hop!

First off let me say WELCOME! If you just came from my super talented friend Lynda's blog, she is a tough act to follow. I am almost intimidated. LOL!

Beleive it or not this card was stamped one handed, in the car (parked of course), while nursing a baby! How's that for multi tasking!! My second card I actually got to make in the happimess called my stamp room.

I tried to go a little out of my comfort zone on this one so you'll have to let me know what you think. Thanks so much for stopping by & your comments. They are always appreciated!

WCMD is coming!

Here is one of the cards we will be making at the World Card Making Celebration! I wanted to design a card that was very simple with an almost hand painted feel. The photo really doesn't do it justice. Hope you can stop by to join in the fun!

Quick Clean Up

I need to put away all my supplies from the Stamp a Stack & of course I found a few extra pieces. For a second I thought about putting them in my I'll Finish Later bin but I think I have learned my lesson so I decided to finish them now! This one is a modification from the original design. I embossed my sentiment crooked the first time so I cut that part off & tried again. Mistakes are just invitations to use a bit more imagination, right?

Take a peek at another card I designed for last weekends Stamp-a-Stack. I like to try to have at least one card thats not too girly & that can be a challenge. Anyway I thought it came out cute.

Sunday Stamp a Stack

I am preparing for an upcoming stamp a stack workshop. I saw this card on splitcoast & I thought the color combo was so pretty with this stamp set I had to try it. Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, & Soft Suede.

Another fun idea!

Here is another project idea from the IMPRINTS meeting. I had to improvise on the wreath since I couldn't get mine to look like Bevs. I think she used a little circle punch & layered a bunch but I'm not sure. Anyway I used my 1" circle & scallop circle punch to make my version.
