Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Over the Rainbow

Welcome to the second ADT blog hop for the month of July-

This week are playing with the Over the Rainbow stamp set!

 

I must admit the style of these stamps may be a little out of my comfort zone but sometimes that's just what you need to get your mojo flowing.

 

 

So I sat down with the Brushstroke background stamp & inked it up with rainbow colors then spritzed it with water before I stamped it. It turned out a bit "messier" than I had hoped but I just rolled with it anyway-sometimes you just gotta do that because what starts off as meh can turn in to something you really like! 

 

My next card I kept super simple-

 

I fussy cut the sun to give it a bit more dimension & I used the Bow Builder punch for the sentiment.

 

I had a little scrap that I was playing with so instead of chucking it I made it in to a fun tag for a bag I made with the new Gift Bag punchboard!
