Welcome to this months' Fancy Friday! If you came from the phenomenal Kimberly VanDiepen then an extra special Hello to you & if you are starting here make sure you keep on hopin' til you make the full round!
Our theme for this month is Masculine yet Fancy so here's my go at it-
My hubby had this cute DSP out so I figured what the heck lets go with that & I paired it with his favorite stamp set Adventure Awaits. Its my first time working with both of these & it was kind of fun to be pushed a little out of my comfort zone!
But I didn't stop there-
I have been hooked on these CAS (Clean & Simple) style cards & I was extra excited to create a card that says You Are Fresh! Hopefully you're old enough to remember when we used to call cool things "Fresh" otherwise I'm getting old. Lol! Even though it is a very straight forward card I hoped the embossing powders would add the touch of fancy.
Anyway since Hubby (a.k.a. Stampin Stud) was stamping along with me I asked him if I could share the card he created with you & he said YES, so here it is!
Let me just say this pic does this card no justice...he embossed the stamp on to Whisper White & sponged on Night of Navy & Blackberry Bliss. Then used the sun burst stencil that comes with the Hooray Its Your Day project kit & fussy cut all those sun rays out- CRAZY Right?! Well if you want read more about how he made this check it out HERE :)
Now hop on over to visit the Fabulous Alanna Wharf!
You two are adorable team stampers!! I love all these so much! Masculine inspiration in spades. So "fresh"! (but I'm even older, lol)
