How To Make Stamps!

I have been wanting to try this for some time & last night I finally got it done!

Supplies Needed:
Big Shot
Thinlits
Thin Fun Foam
Tombow Liquid Glue

(You can try this with any die but for now I will be talking about the butterfly.)

Step One: Die cut a butterfly from the fun foam. You will need 2 butterfly's.
No shims or wax paper or anything was needed.
I used the magnetic platform & didn't get any resistance when I rolled it through.

Step Two: Use the liquid glue to attach the butterfly's together.

Step Three: Add a light layer of liquid glue to one side of the butterfly & let it dry. Tombow glue becomes repositionable once dry so this is how it will attach to your clear block!

Now you're ready to stamp!

Clean your foam stamp with a baby wipe to switch between ink colors.
Hope you give this a try & I'd love to see your creations so feel free to leave a link in the comments!

  15. Thank you for the inspiration. I made my own set of butterflies from your suggestion. They work great. I can't believe how easy (and cheap) they are to make.

  16. I love your idea, I wanna try it. I also saw an idea using the largest butterfly die in this set with fun foam and heated it to shrink with heat gun, It worked too. It looks cool mixing the paper and foam textures on a card.
