Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Envelope Card

Before we jump in to this -I wanted to express my deepest sympathies to Robin Williams family & friends. We are profoundly saddened by his death & can't imagine how horrible their grief must be right now. Please pray for them. He was an amazing man that brought joy to so so many & he will be greatly missed.

Well let me just say I went through the blog hop last week & was totally floored by the awesomeness I saw! Not that I am surprised, Stampin' Up sure knows how to pick 'em, don't they?!
If you just came from the fabulous Lisa Harlow's blog- Can I just say I AM A FAN! She has got MAD photography skillz! I'm a little jelly...lol!

Ok on with the show-
True confession time. I am a horribly messy crafter. I wish it wasn't this way but it is & honestly many of my best creations have come together totally by accident...you know the pile you have created finally topples over on to the 6 inch section of clear space you are currently working on & This falls on to That & you have a light bulb moment! No? Is it just me? Well my point is I am loving how trendy the whole scrappy card thing is right now cuz Lord knows I have waaaayyyy too many bits & pieces laying around. Alright now I am rambling so let just get on to the card details...

So this card was born of scraps I found on my table! A few strips of left over cardstock, a skinny piece of cut doily, a bit of bakers twine & sequins all looking for a purpose in their lives.  The new Tag a Bag accessory kit & the Crumb Cake Note Cards Envelopes were just what they needed to bring them all together. To put a little spin on it I made a post card style card to slip in to the decorated envelope.

While I go pop this little beauty in the mail
you can head over to the amazingly talented Sarah Sagert...isn't she a doll!
