Artisan Wednesday Wow
Welcome back to another week of inspiration from the Artisan Design Team!
Good News I survived the Minion Mayhem! But before I get in to that, thought I better show you my projects first...
I really jumped on the Gold bandwagon with these & I think they are so pretty!
And who can resist matching gold wrapped chocolates...mmmmm.
If you would like to skip the story about our crazy party feel free to hop straight over to visit the fabulous Alanna Wharf!
If not then here goes....
As you might remember from last week, our girls party theme this year was Despicable Me. Every year they have some kind of "character" come do face painting or whatever but this year I thought it would be awesome to create our own "character". So I spent a week painstakingly creating a minion costume! I used a couple recycled Stampin Up boxes, fleece, batting, my sewing machine, duct tape, & hot glue. The Big Shot came in super handy too! It really turned out fabulous & I absolutely could not wait for the kids to see it! My daughter, Cami, was my helper and she was the perfect size to for the costume plus it just fit her personality so well. Of course we needed Gru to make an appearance too so we recruited my hubby for that. As they walked in we played the Despicable Me song, it was pretty awesome!
Here is a picture of them-
Everyone LOVED them but the minion really was the star especially when she started dancing! It was hilarious! Here is a tiny clip of it-
I set up a little photo op area & took a picture of each guest with the minion & Gru. Here is the one with all my kiddos...
My oldest daughter did the face painting, which was actually face tattoos I found at the dollar store, each guest made a minion hat, & we even made PX41 purple punch which was actually pretty yummy! It was the best party we have had, that's for sure!

I still have quite a few projects to show so I better get crackin!
Here are my last 2 made with the Sale-a-Bration set "See Ya Later"...

Artisan Wednesday Wow
Welcome back to another week of fun inspiration from the Stampin Up Artisan Design Team! Just to put it out there...there are a few photos & more chatter than normal in this post.
So here is the back story, 2 of my girls have late December birthdays & our littlest has a January birthday so we have one party to keep it easy for everyone. This weekend we will be having a Despicable Me party! Sometimes I bite off more than I can chew...actually most of the time. Anyway I decided to make the girls minion hats!!!
Silly 3 year old alert.
They love them & so do I! Then I got to thinking " Wouldn't it be fun to have a Make a Minion station at the party". Yeah, so I spent a good part of the day sewing the hats. Next is cutting all the pieces so their friends can attach them with some kind of fabric glue. I think it will be cute to see them all running around & who knows we might even have a visit from Gru (wink wink)!
Anyway since I had minions on the brain that's what I went with for this weeks project...
Its a little treat pouch, actually it started as a 3 1/2 x 5 card & I just sealed 2 ends. I used the Just Sayin stamp set for the "Thanks" & the Banner Framelits for the teeth but the new banner punch from the SAB catalog will work as well.
Alright well hopefully next week I will be able to focus on something not minion related! LOL!
Now let's go visit the super talented Alanna Wharf..

Stampin Up Leadership Display Boards Day 3 "See Ya Later"
I am back with more fun from our trip to Leadership!
First I want to thank my fabulous team the "Paper Paradise Stampers" for making it possible for me to attend Mangers Reception for the first time this year!
If you are looking for a fabulous team to join We Are It!!!
The icing on the cake was being able to share the expierience with my Bestie!
We went to the Downtown Aquarium in Houston & it was ridiculously fun!
Only Lynda could convince me to to take a selfie in a fish hat! LOL!
Ok on to a couple samples I made using the SAB set "See Ya Later"...
As we were creating our projects, Jeanna suggested that we make duplicates so we could have one to keep & one to send to SU but unfortunately the only one I did make a double of was this alligator one. Which was only by default since it took me a couple tries to get it right.
Yes I am still kicking myself for not taking her advice.
This card was another favorite of mine, even though I had to use the Stamp a Majig. I'm a fly by the seat of my pants kinda girl...or maybe I'm just too lazy to get it out. Either way I thought it came out way cute!
Thanks for stopping by today & dont forget to check on what the rest of team has going on!

Stampin Up Leadership Display Boards Geometrical Day 2
Thanks for stopping by for another day of Leadership projects! It was so fun to see this sign next to the display boards!
The Team knocked it out of the park! The displays were totally Fab! Ok before I share the last of my samples using the Geometrical stamp set I wanted to brag about my sweet friend Lynda Lee!
We got to participate in the Paper Pumpkin Craft Wars!
Think "Chopped". 20 minutes, basket ingredients, limited tools, etc...
Lets just say I was chopped in the first round but my BFF was chosen as one of the 20 winners!!! Yay!
Ok on to the samples...
This was the very last project I made & I knew as long as I used an adorable picture of my daughter I might be able to get away with keeping my page really simple. I went with the faux chalkboard look & thought it was perfect for the "school feel".
Who doesn't like tiny things? They are just cute! I bought this little wreath at a yard sale a couple years ago & I was so happy that it worked for this project. Well thats all I have today but don't worry there is alot more to come! Don't forget to check out what the rest of the team has in store for you...

Artisan Wednesday Wow
Welcome to this weeks edition of the Artisan Blog Hop! I have been throughly enjoying all the fabulous products in the new catalogs & the way the Team has been showcasing with such a wide variety of styles! It was hard but I actually didn't use the Tag Topper Punches on my first card...gasp!
But you know I couldn't have an entire post with out showing something made with my new favorite toy! I love that heart from the Peachy Keen set & it paired well with this sentiment from the Sale-a-Bration set "See Ya Later".
Lets continue on to the Fabulous Alanna Wharf!
