I don't really share anything thats not made with SU products but today will be an exception. My girls wanted to make birthday cards for my mother in law & if given a choice of what they would like to use they almost always want to use the cricut. I rarely let them since its such a pain in the butt to drag it out but I did. We have lots of cartridges & they like to browse through them all to decide what they feel like cutting. This time they chose Hoot n Holler. Then we have to pull out the giant stack of random scrapbook paper so they can contemplate what designs & colors they will use. So needless to say this is a really lengthy process & actually ended up taking up most of my day on Wednesday. Seriously!
Daughter #2's cards is on the right & #3's is on the left. #2 decided her owl was walking back from the fair so she needed a balloon & an ice cream. Of course then #3 had to have a balloon too! They did really well. I have been trying to teach them that sometimes "less is best". Some of there cards look like a contest of who can add the most stuff so I was happy they remembered my advice. Then of course anyime they make cards I usually get one of these questions "Would you make a card like this for your ladies?" or "Will you put it on your blog?". So today I decided I would make a couple little girls happy & put their cards up on my blog. Thanks for stopping by & if you have time to leave a comment I am sure they would love it!
What adorable cards! They both did a terrific job making two very awesome cards. Looks like they inherited their mother's craftiness. :)
