Catty Case Fun!

Its been a crazy couple of weeks! First off a couple weeks ago I had the wild idea of entering Stampin Up's Artisan contest but I thought the entries were due at the end of the month but they were actually due today! I can't believe that I actually finished all my entries & they were delivered 2 days ago! This was by far creatively the hardest thing I have ever done. One of my 3-D items about brought me to tears a few times. Anyway enough about that. I had two fun nights in a row! I had my wonderful Technique Tuesday group join me & we made paper flowers. Then the next day I got to get together with some of my downline & we had a catty case night! Here are a couple of the cards we created!
  

I cased this card from the last page of the new summer mini. I added my own touches & loved SU's idea of creating a different style of butterfly with the Strength & Hope set.

This card came out super cute & was made by my brand new downline! So much fun!

Pretty Paper Flowers!

Super busy so just a quick post. Next week at Technique Tuesday were are making paper flowers so I wanted to get some samples ready. Have a great day! 

Bunny in a Basket!

I thought this came out so adorable! I used the petal cone die & the wide oval punch to make the basket! The bunny is made the same as the brown one but obviously she is white. I used pretty in pink for her nose & ears & she is sponged with going gray. See previous posts for video tutorials.

Well after I made the bunny for the first tutorial I started playing with the idea of creating him a body so here he is!

Today I got to play along with the inspiration challenge on SCS! I hate to admit it but I am behind on my card making. Don't know how thats possible but I have been meaning to make cards for my downline to celebrate their 2 year demo anniversaries & I am ridiculously late with making my nephews birthday cards. Stamping Again!

Oh my gosh I can't beleive I went almost 3 weeks with out stamping! Big HUGS to my friend Kris that asked if I was ok since she noticed I have been MIA for so long. :) I wasn't sure how things would go when I finally did have a chance to play with my toys again. I wanted to start off slow but before I made this card I actually had to make my entries for Paper Crafts Stamping Royalty Contest! It all came together quite nicely & by the grace of God I made it to the post office 2 minutes before they closed. Entries had to be postmarked by 3/24. You would think I would learn my lesson & stop waiting until the very last minute but as my hubby says I do my best work under pressure. I guess we shall see. Anyway this card was inspired by a beautiful card I saw by Ann Schach & uses a brand new set called Strength & Hope that will be available in the upcoming mini catalog. I will be using this beautiful stamp set for my Customer Stamp n' Chat on April 1st. Now I've got to go make breakfast for the little people. Thanks for stopping by!

Vacation!

Our cruise was great! We went to Cabo San Lucas & Puerto Vallarta. It was nice to relax & have some time with my hubby. He works ALOT so it was amazing to have him all to myself for 10 days. The girls had a great time. I think their favorite part was swimming with the dolphins in Puerto Vallarta! I didn't know dolphins were so big! They can weigh up to 1,000 pounds! It was really amazing to see them up close. They are truly beautiful! I have a ton of unpacking & cleaning to do so I don't have time to play in my stamp room but I am sooo looking forward to it! But I will leave you with a few pictures from our trip:

March's Technique Tuesday Cards

Card inspired by France Martin

I really love my Technique Tuesday gals & am honored that they spend an evening stamping with me every month. Its always much needed "adult time" for me. Anyway these were the 2 cards we did last night! Our technique was watercoloring so I showed them how to watercolor with markers & with watercolor crayons. Their cards came out absolutely beautiful!  Well now I am off to get packin for our cruise to Mexico, Woo Hoo! Hope you have a blessed day!

Teaching Watercoloring!

Petal Cone Birthday Hat!

In honor of my youngest daughters 1st birthday! I can't beleive how fast time flies. She is running around here with the big girls now. Its super adorable since she is so tiny & toddling all over the place. She is also a non stop talker. She just jabbers along in her little baby language & looks at us like we know what she is saying. LOL! Anyway here is my creation...

I used the timeless type die to make the 1. Just punched out a circle & layed it over the 1 then die cut. I masked the Thanks stamp from the SAB set So Happy For You & stamped the "S & T". Then used the "Birthday" from the Birthday Wishes sentiment. Didn't even use the Stamp a Majig & it came out pretty good! I made the fringe from colored tissue paper. Thanks for stopping by today! I am ridiculously excited about this little cupcake punch creation! Ok so if anyone has not ordered the cupcake punch by now this card might just put it on you Must Have list! I actually made 2 different pies & I will share how to make both in my next video.

Cupcake Hot Air Balloon!

I can't beleive I am still playing with my cupcake punch! I LOVE it! It's on the top of my list of favorite things right now. This one was so simple, I paired the cupcake bottom with the 1 3/4" circle! No video needed right? Very quick but oh so cute! Thanks for stopping by today!

Valentine Treats!

I wanted to make some little fancy treats for tonight's demo stamp n chat. I saw a cute idea on Angela Timms blog to use this cute angel image for a Valentine project so I started there. I got the Table setting die a couple months ago & I haven't used it yet so I thought I would see what I could do with that. I used 2 of the small tag cut outs to make these. I just scored the straight end 1" & attached them together. These fit a hershey nugget perfectly! Hope the gals like them!

Naughty Valentine Box

Just a quick post...My sweet friend cut me a few of the petal cones so I had to play! I have had this idea in my head for awhile so it came together pretty quickly. Let me know what ya think.

New Punch Art!

I am SUPER excited about my new cupcake punch creation! I was going to wait until the video was done to show you but I just couldn't wait. Soooo here it is!

I love it! Who knew you could get some many adorable things from a cupcake punch! I will be making this in my next video so come back for that this weekend.

Have I Lost My Mind?

Its almost 3 am & I have been working on this card for almost 2 hours! Making tiny golden tassels, paper latterns, taking photos, omgosh. If you find my marbles please return them....

I just couldn't help myself. Hubby brought me home this beautiful Washi paper the other day & I was enabled by the FS challenge on SCS. I chose this card . I had wanted to make something for Shelli's blog contest also & since i'm cutting it down to the wire I figured what the heck who needs sleep! Anyway back to the card. I mounted the Washi paper to Whisper White because it was too thin to punch. Then I punched the large oval & 2 key tags & ran them through the crimper. A stampin friend Lois had made tassels for a Stamp n Chat project awhile back so I thought I would give it a try. Found a how to video on YouTube. If you search just be warned you may find some instructions for umm...upperbody tassels. Just keep scrolling down. LOL! Its very easy to do once you see it. Well friends its now after 3am & I have to go to bed now or I will not be a happy camper tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!

More Clouds

Made this for a couple challenges over on SCS. One challenge was to use rainbows & the other was to use a warm color & something fuzzy. I painted the rainbow on watercolor paper & I added some flock to the clouds to make them fuzzy!

Stamp a Stack Sample #4

Today I saw a beautiful card on SCS by Denise January & I just had to use it as inspiration for this card. I loved her use of the damask stamp over the print & the color combo. So this will be another card for Feb 5th's Stamp a Stack. Ok now I've gotta head over to InPaperParadise to add a new card. Stampin Away!

I really enjoy mixing & matching things until I find a combo that I like. I'll grab a few different colors or punched shapes & see what works. I thought this combo was fun! Yay Stamp a Stack card #2 completed!!!

I am thinking about ideas for my next video & I was thinking of doing a short series featuring the cupcake punch & different ways to use it. What do you think? Is that something anyone would be interested in seeing? Thanks for the feedback!

Getting Started

I have got to get my samples for my upcoming Stamp a Stack ready asap. I can't beleive February is coming so fast! I am the biggest procrastinator ever.
Anyway here is my first sample.

I got the Bitty Blossom set so I wanted to give it a try & I think I'm liking it. What do you think? Simple but pretty, right?  Well I better get crackin on sample #2.
