Leadership Artisan Samples 2015- From the Garden

Thanks for dropping by today for our Friday Leadership share week 3! Only one more week to go & you will have gotten to see everything we created for the beautiful display boards at this years Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference.

Well this was my most challenging product assignment & it took me a really long to figure out what to do with the From the Garden stamp set & Handpicked Framelits but I managed to get something done so I was happy. Take a look...

I love this picture of my girls & I really wanted to keep the page very simple so their little faces were the stars. :)

Those little framelits make the teeny tiniest little shovel & pots you have every seen, lets face it tiny things are just totally adorbs!

This card was about me wishing for some beautiful Spring weather. Lol!

Fancy Friday- Technique Spotlight!

Welcome to this month's Fancy Friday Blog Hop!
The gals decided on "Techniques" for the theme & since it seems to be all the rage right now I jumped on the Bokeh bandwagon. Lol!

First step was random sponging on Whisper White cardstock with Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, & Crisp Cantaloupe.

But after trying the original way with the sponging of white craft ink & plastic stencils & all that craziness I decided to cheat a bit & use the cute dots from the Best Year Ever stamps set paired with the dot from the Work of Art set. I stamped them in White Craft but they didn't jump out as much as I hoped so then I added a bit of White Embossing powder to some of the spots. Over all I was happy with how it came together! Thanks for taking a look!

I am sure Becky has created something beyond amazing so lets hop on over to check it out!

Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- More Butterflies!

Welcome to this week's Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
Glad you have joined us!

If you follow my blog you may know how much I absolutely adore butterflies! So since this was the last project for this months fabulous box I had to spotlight my favorite product again- the Butterfly Basics thinlit dies!

I wanted to fancy up some clothespins to give as gifts but wasn't quite sure about how to package them up...so I took one of our chevron bags & added some Fast Fuse along the sides & folded it up. I used a couple staples to make extra sure it wasn't going anywhere. Added a little more embellishing, a couple chocolate squares & clipped the pin on the front. So easy but still a lovely token of appreciation!

My next project is a birthday card I created for a friend & you may have gotten a sneak peek if you follow me on Instagram-

A couple of fun things going on here...

My daughter accidentally cut one of the rosettes that come with the Artisan Embellishment Kit a little too close so it started to come apart but it was so cute I decided to save it & use the little bit that was still in tact as show above. I took the other part & attached it under my sentiment banner & it made an adorable little scalloped edge ribbon!

Last little trick is I colored my Something Borrowed Embellishments with my Coastal Cabana Blendabilities! I have done a few different colors now & they are so cute!

Well that's all I have for now so let's go see what Sarah is up to~
