Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Pretty Pumpkins

Welcome back to our weekly ADT Blog Hop! I am a little excited about the card I created for today's hop! First let me say- I am seriously challenged when it comes to drawing & shading & things of that nature. My hubby on the hand is totally amazing and he always says things like "Think about your light soured and where the shadows fall." I just sit there with a blank stare because for some reason my brain just does NOT process that at all. I wish I could flip a switch in my head to turn on that light bulb but no such luck.
But regardless I decided to give a little free hand coloring a try. I die cut a couple of the mini pumpkins with the Fun Fall Framelits & grabbed my Blendabilities! I was very skeptical that I could pull it off let alone do a half way decent job so imagine my surprise when I ended up with a couple of cute little pumpkins!

So yes I am sure anyone that actually knows how to draw or color can see that I'm not super talented in that department but for me going from a plain piece of white cardstock to something that could be recognized as a pumpkin was a Big Deal! Lol!

Alrighty time to head on over to visit the fabulous Sarah Sagert!
