Happy New Year!

Today is also my 2nd oldest daughters birthday! Happy Birthday Princess!
Anyway now that 2010 is on the way out I wanted to sneak in one last post. Now that the craziness is offically over I finally got a chance to stamp a little something! Shelli (Yes THE Shelli)  is having a challenge on her blog so I thought I'd give a go. I really enjoy the crinkle distressing using water & a heat tool so thats what I've done on these 2 cards. You will see lots of sneak peek stuff that will be available in just a few short days! Both cards use a new SU die that will be in the Occasions mini catalog. For card #2 I used a fabulous new flower punch to make the leaves.
Technique Info:
Card 1-Sponged all layers with Razzleberry Ink on Pale Plum cardstock then sprayed with water. Love the way the Razzleberry started to bleed. Then I crinkled layers in to tight balls heat dried a little then carefully unwrapped them & completely dried with heat tool.
Card 2- Same process minus sponging & instead of spraying with plain water I added some Soft Suede Reinker & Champagne Shimmer Paint to the spray bottle.

Craft Faire Table

I have been really busy making items for a festival I had a table at over the weekend. Sad to say the weather was not great & my table was off the main path so the traffic to my area was extremely minimal. So I guess I've got a good jump on stuff for next year! Those that did stop by seemed to enjoy my free make n take though!  We used the new cupcake punch & stamp set to make a super simple 3x3 card. Thanks for stopping, hope you had a lovely weekend!

Oh yeah forgot to add I totally cased the snowman canybars & reindeer food from this super talented gal:  Kerry's Papercrafts  & cased the SU corkboard sign from a post I saw on Stampin Connection. Funny thing is I picked up these corkboards a couple years ago on clearance at Michaels for 90% off! Hubby tried to chuck them many times after asking many many times "What are you going to do with these?" I seem to get that question a LOT! I love when I actually use some of the stuff I have in my I might need this someday stuff. LOL!

Mr. & Mrs. Rudolph Boxes

The SU calendar countdown kit is so fun! I wasn't crazy about the advent idea shown in the catalog but I loved the adorable little boxes so I used them to make little treats for my technique tuesday stampers. I combined a bunch of different punch art reindeers that I have seen to come up with this one.

I finally thought ahead a bit & took pictures of the punch pieces you'll need to create this reindeer.

I sponged the crumb cake cardstock with chocolate chip ink. Also the hoofs on the mrs. I used white pen & on the mr. I snipped out the triangle. I think I like the cut out better. Anyway thanks for stopping by today & your comments are always very appreciated!

Chocolate Butterflies

Had a chance to play along with todays inspiration challenge on SCS! I chose a brown headband that had some white flowers scattered on it. This was a very quick card & I got to use the new sale-a-bration set "Bliss"! I have another card to show you too but it will have to wait til tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by!

Bitty Envelope Box

I love the I Wish SS kit from last year! So sad to see it go bye bye. Anyway thought I would share a cute little box I made using 4 envelope die cuts from the Bitty Box & Envelope die. Very easy just cut out 4 of the envelopes & attach them together with the little side flaps. Thanks for stopping by today!
